Ghost stories are a bit tricky: on one hand, I’m like, “Florence Cathcart here; ghosts aren’t real but science is,” and on the other, I’m like, “wow gosh it sure was nice enjoying sleeping, which I will do never again.”
Feminist website Jezebel runs an annual contest for true scary stories, and they are always spine-chilling. I always end up reading them at the bus-stop and FREAKING OUT. Enjoy!
Here Are the 10 Scariest, Most Bone-Chilling Stories You’ll Read All Year
So, I’m catching up on all the Internet I have missed due to Life the past few weeks. I’m reading the stories while crunching video data at work, since the videos are taking forever to compile and transfer.
In the middle of reading these stories, the computer across the room, the extra one that no one uses, suddenly starts making scratching noises and the disk drive light flickers like crazy. No one else is here, I am here late, and since it is winter, it is already very dark.
I may not sleep tonight.
